faves in Rome.
you may or may not know, Rome is where I was born and raised, and it’s obviously one of my favourite cities in Italy.
here are three activities and places I recommend you add to your Rome itinerary.
Trastevere - the heart of Rome (at least for me).
I love how, when strolling in Trastevere, you still hear the romans speak, you see them having an aperitivo or an espresso in the morning, my favourite restaurants are in this neighbourhood, as well as some cool local stores. should I create a blog post specifically on Trastevere?
2. Cooking Class - a must!
tried this viral cooking class and it sure didn’t disappoint! I love cooking classes as they are a great way to connect with fellow travellers and learn uses and customs of the country you are visiting.
3. a visit to Musei Capitolini.
this museum is a gem! having seen the majority of sites in Rome, this was one I was missing and it pleasantly surprised me. Musei Capitolini are all about Rome's history, and it's where you can admire the Lupa Capitolina, a sculpture which is fundamental in Rome's past.
plus, it has a terrace with a great view of Rome!
if you have any requests for future blogposts… leave them in the comments ✨
with love,
your italian bestie xx
