the perfect day in Florence.
Florence is a city that’s so easy to love, this is what I recommend doing if you want to spend the most PERFECT day.
Start your day with a pasta-making class. It’s a fun, hands-on way to learn Italian cooking from a chef, and meet other travelers. You’ll get to also eat the three types of pasta you have made, all with a side of free flowing wine.

You can’t go to Florence without visiting Piazza del Duomo, it’s truly a special place, check out its amazing spots like the Cathedral, Bell Tower, Baptistery, and Museo del Duomo.
I loved Museo del Duomo. It’s all about the process it took building the incredible Cathedral of Florence. You will only need about 1 hour to visit but It was a true highlight!

Grab dinner at Trattoria dell’Oste, I had the most incredible truffle risotto — but if you’re a fan of Florentine steak, it’s one of their best dishes!
End your night with a stop at a Fotoautomatica to snap some fun black-and-white pictures as a keepsake. They have such a special & retro feeling to it.
After this, we headed to the train station and made our way back to Rome, however you can use this one day example if you are staying in Florence as well.
I truly hope you enjoyed this blogpost!
with love,
